Jimmy O Donnell is staying in a boarding house in Dublin for the night. The house is full so the housekeeper arranges a bed for him in the living room. However, his night is not as peaceful as he would have hoped, there are two robbers and a detective in the house who believe that there are stolen jewels stashed in the living room.
