Gerald Brosnan
The street pavement outside the railings of a park in the North City of Dublin. February, 1927.
'Shocks' or Patrick Francis Kiley is a soldier left mentally unhinged after the war. He hangs around Mountjoy Square singing recalled snatches of wartime songs. It's here he picks up a murderer's abandoned weapon and regains his senses enough to capture him with the help of kindly Detective Long.
