Liam Lynch
Paddy Murphy has gone to England to earn money to help his poor mother at home in Ireland. He stays in a boarding house run by Mrs. O'Leary, a rough diamond where we are introduced to the others in his new life, unsavoury characters all. The play is an angry response to the social evil that is emigration.
