Description
The Temenos Project is an international, multi-disciplinary network founded in 1995 to explore the transformational potential of art. ‘Temenos’ is the Greek word for that part of the temple where the presence of the gods can be felt. The Temenos Project investigates how art can express new levels of consciousness; how artists can develop their gifts as healers, tricksters, and ceremony leaders; and what new forms and contexts encourage contemplation, engagement, and growth. The project investigates: how art can express new levels of consciousness; how artists can develop their gifts as healers, tricksters, and ceremony leaders; and what new forms and contexts encourage contemplation, engagement, and growth.
