Glasshouse Productions was an independent, Dublin-based theatre company founded in 1990 by Clare Dowling, Katy Hayes Siân Quill and Caroline Williams. The company produced 10 shows between 1990 and 1996, including new plays by Clare Dowling, Emma Donoghue and Trudy Hayes and in addition hosted discussions and debates on the role of women in contemporary Irish theatre. The company staged two compilations of Irish womens drama- There are no Irish Women Playwrights 1 (contemporary work) and There are no Irish Women Playwrights 2 (1920-1970). The company received funding from The Arts Council and Dublin Corporation. The company ceased operations in 1996.
